Confederation of European Environmental Engineering Societies

Le CEEES (Confédération of European Engineering Societies) est une confédération composée de 10 associations semblables à l’ASTE , au niveau européen (cf. www.ceees.org) . Elle a été créée en 1984  et depuis cette date ses membres se réunissent  2 fois par an, en février à Bruxelles (ou exceptionnellement à Louvain ou à Bruges) et en septembre dans l’une des villes  européennes. Le programme de ces réunions, sur 2 journées, est couramment constitué le matin du 1^er jour  de réunions des 3 groupes de travail :

• environnement mécanique (animé par David RICHARDS de Insys Ltd (anciennement Hunting Engineering),
• environnement climatique (animé par Thomas REICHERTS de l’ICT /Fraunhofer/Karlsruhe)
• et Fiabilité/déverminage (animé par Henri GRZESKOWIAK ).

 

L’après midi du 1^er jour est constitué par un groupe plénier qui traite des questions générales de la confédération. Le 2^ème jour se tient habituellement  un  WORKSHOP européen.

With pleasure I send you as attachment the „Announcement & Call for Papers”, the “Registration Form”, the “Hotel Booking Form” and the “Abstract Model” for the 5th European Weathering Symposium, which will be held on 21 – 23 September 2011 in Lisbon Portugal.

 

You are kindly requested to distribute these documents within your country.

 

Please visit as well http://www.weathering-symposium.org. Here you will find after about two weeks time the program and all necessary forms for registration, hotel booking, abstract submission.

 

Deadline for submission of abstracts is January 15th, 2011 

 

GUS has reserved contingents of rooms at Hotel Real Palácio (conference venue) and Hotel Real Parque (close to the conference venue) at special convention rates. Reservations must be made directly before July 1, 2011.  But, please inform your members, that they shouldn’t ’t wait too long with their hotel booking, because the earlier they book their rooms, the greater the chance that the room they chose will be available

 

Please inform me, if you need as well printed copies of the “Call for papers”.

To make it easier for you, we can send you the “Calls” in envelopes, ready for posting them. But you can have them as well “open” to lay them out.

 

Please let me know, how many copies (in envelopes or open) do you need.
